Jennifer Lawrence’s ex is finally commenting on what she described as a “sex crime” to Vanity Fair.

Nicholas Hoult, who dated the “Hunger Games” star for four years, broke his silence this week during an appearance on Good Day New York to promote his new film Young Ones.

When asked about Jennifer’s phone being hacked, revealing numerous nude photos which were leaked online in August, Nicholas replied, “It’s shocking that things like that happen in the world. It’s a shame.”

Jennifer recently opened up about the shocking images, telling Vanity Fair that they were for Nicholas, her then-boyfriend.

"Every single thing that I tried to write made me cry or get angry. I started to write an apology, but I don't have anything to say I'm sorry for," the Oscar winner told the mag. "I was in a loving, healthy, great relationship for four years. It was long distance, and either your boyfriend is going to look at porn or he's going to look at you."

And for those who leaked the photos or even looked at them—Jennifer had harsh words. “It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime," she told Vanity Fair's Sam Kashner. "It is a sexual violation. It's disgusting. The law needs to be changed, and we need to change."
