Ryan and model Shayna Taylor have dated on and of since last summer, and they just got back from a luxury European trip, including a few days in Tuscany. But an insider says that Ryan, who has dated and dumped Julianne Hough, Sophie Monk and a series of other beauties, isn’t going to settle down with Shayna either.

“He has fun taking her on lavish vacations, but when it comes to his daily life, she’s not that big a part of it,” says the insider. “His work is everything to him.” Besides, the 39-year-old American Idol host is fickle. “Ryan gets bored quickly,” says the source. “Sometimes he acts like he wants to settle down and start a family, but no one believes he ever really will. Shayna may think she can change him, but it’s only a matter of time before he kicks her to the curb too.”
