In what has to be the brightest spot in her life since getting back her visitation privileges to her two boys, Britney Spears is giving acting another shot with a guest role on the hit CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother, which she started shooting yesterday. And she has nothing but great things to say about her latest foray into acting.
After her first full day of work, which included a visit from her mother Lynne Spears, Britney says that her experience "has been so terrific. Everyone, including the cast, the crew and the producers, has been wonderful."
And what about her character, Abby the receptionist? "Abby is such a fun girl to play," says Brit, adding, "I'm having a blast!"
This is Britney's second go-around with sitcom stardom. Two years ago, while a few months pregnant with second son Jayden James, the pop star made a cameo appearance on the final season of award-winning NBC show Will & Grace.
