Zac Efron And His New Rumored GF Vanessa Valladares Are ‘Having Fun’ After They Were Spotted Holding Hands In Australia

Sorry, ladies! It looks like Zac Efron is off the market. The actor was spotted with his rumored girlfriend, Vanessa Valladares, in Lennox Head, Australia, on Saturday, September 5. The High School Musical alum, 32, sported a black T-shirt with sunglasses and a baseball cap and was on his phone while his new love, who was wearing a white T-shirt, was sitting beside him. The two appeared to be having a good time while sitting down at a cafe. 

The day before, the duo was spotted holding hands after they visited The Farm, a trendy restaurant in Byron Bay, according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail.

The lovebirds met at Valladares’ workplace, Bryon Bay General Store & Cafe, in June, a source told PEOPLE. “Zac met Ness earlier in the summer. They started hanging out in July and recently took a ski trip together,” the insider dished. “You can tell that they are having fun. She spends a lot of time at his house.” 

The handsome hunk was last linked to Olympic swimmer Sarah Bro, 24, in March 2019 and costar Alexandra Daddario in 2017. Prior to that, he dated Vanessa Hudgens for five years.

Despite being a heartthrob, the California native has kept quiet about his previous relationships and even revealed it’s hard to find someone when you’re so famous. “Dating is something I’ll never be able to do,” he told The Times in 2016. “As in the dictionary definition of dating, because one way or another I’ve impacted that person’s life and they’ll soon realize it. … A date has to be very long to dispel whatever people think of me.” 

The Baywatch star also admitted he “signed up for Tinder” but “nobody swiped me,” adding that “they thought my profile was fake.” 

Now that Efron is getting older — and wiser! — he realized that he does want someone special in his life. “I didn’t think much about settling down until recently,” he told Cosmopolitan magazine in 2017. “Now that I’m getting closer to my 30s, I’m around some great relationships and I’ve seen expert couples at work. I’m realizing that you have to find your own happiness before you can make somebody else happy.”
