Ann Curry Returns to 'Today' to Cover Colorado Theater Shooting With Savannah Guthrie

Just weeks after her emotional sign-off as co-anchor of the Today Show, Ann Curry is back on our televisions, reporting on the tragic shooting that occurred at a Colorado theater showing The Dark Knight Rises. Ann is sharing coverage duties with none other than her Today replacement, Savannah Guthrie.

According to the L.A. Times, Ann went on location in Aurora, Colo. to report from the scene. The story is her most high-profile assignment since she was let go as co-anchor and asked to stay with NBC as a special correspondent, a deal for which she pocketed a reported $10 million.
