Ben Affleck Gives Emotional Tribute To Wife Jennifer Garner After Winning Best Director At Golden Globes

After being royal snubbed by the Academy Awards with no best director nomination for his amazing movie Argo, Ben Affleck got some sweet revenge tonight walking away with the Golden Globe in the same category.

The handsome star looked visibly shocked when his name was called out as the winner - beating out Steven Spielberg and Quentin Tarantino.

Ben thanked the cast, crew, his team… but the best moment was saved for his tribute to his three children; Violet, Seraphina and Sam and his loving wife Jennifer Garner.

"I want to thank my wife who is the reason why I'm standing here," he gushed while Jen beamed from the audience.
