NEWSCasey Anthony Releases Video Blog: 'Things Are Starting To Look Up'

In a new video diary that just surfaced, Casey Anthony makes her first public appearance since she was acquitted in July of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee Anthony, and confesses that her life has become "surreal."
Sporting a new blonde bob and black-rimmed glasses, Casey opens up about her life on probabtion and how "things are starting to look up" for her.

"It's just a little surreal how much things have changed since July, and how many things haven't changed," she says in the message, which runs a little over four minutes. "But the good thing is that things are starting to look up, and things are starting to change in a good way. I just hope that things stay good and that they only get better."
Although the video was recorded in October, Casey's whereabouts are still unknown as she finishes her probabtion, which ends in late February. But, she is happy and excited to finally be able to use a computer and have a phone and camera she can call her own. And don't assume this is Casey's last video blog — she says they'll be plenty more to come.

"This is the first of many, and I'm looking forward to this," Casey admits. "It's a little scary, because I hate being oncamera, but I need to conquer that fear at some point, and this is a good start."
