Channing Tatum Rips His Shirt Off and Promotes 'Magic Mike' On 'Today'

It's the official two-day countdown to the premiere of delightful male stripper movie Magic Mike, and the cast is pulling out all the stops to rake in moviegoers this weekend.

Yesterday, Joe Manganiello looked sheepish doing a brief stripper dance for Kathie Lee and Hoda, and this morning Ann Curry and Al Roker got an up close and personal look at Joe's hypnotic "body roll," a group of flash dancers and Channing Tatum's Tampa-approved grinding.

"It was a crazy time of my life," Channing says of his days stripping. "I'm not ashamed of it, but I don't know if I'm not proud of it either. I was 18 and crazy in Tampa."

Channing also mentions that he really hopes Magic Mike makes it to Broadway as it's got the right stuff to be a "big, crazy musical."

If it's true that Ann is getting pink slipped by NBC any day now, this was a wonderful farewell from morning news. Don't you think?
