A rep for Chaz told The New York Daily News that the two are "no longer a couple."

But it sounds like they will remain friends.

"They leave this relationship with great love, respect and affection toward one another," the rep added. "No further amplification will be forthcoming, and they ask that you respect their privacy at this time."

Chaz and Jennifer had a long engagement, and Chaz previously explained to Piers Morgan on Piers Morgan Tonight why they "put things on hold a little bit."

"Not to make excuses, but we went through a lot. I transitioned. She went to grad school. Then, you know, we were making the film. And I wrote the book," he explained of his gender-reassignment surgery. "I feel like once this is over, we can sit down and plan a wedding."
