Dancing with the Stars vet Karina Smirnoff has a brilliant idea for shaking things up during next season's competition.

OK! News: Are Beyonce and Jay-Z Headed For Divorce?

"I would love to see the eliminated pros judge the week after they get eliminated," she told OK! after last week's finale. "Here’s the thing—we get people like Abby Lee Miller, Donny Osmond...some people have experienced it as celebrities and some people have never experienced it but we’ve never had a dancer. We’re in it. We know what it takes. Our criticism is going to be very constructive because this is our job. This is what we do best. I would love to see that. I love all of the celebrities who come in and do the guest judging because it’s always fun. I got to walk with Ricky Martin, I got to walk with Red Foo. But I would love to see one of our dancers behind that desk and actually do some constructive criticism. I think it’s a great idea. I would’ve loved to do it this season they just didn’t let me."

During the finale judge Len Goodman made a comment suggesting season 18 may be his last, so there could be an opening on the panel.

"Len is not coming back? There is a job opening," joked Karina. "I’m going to send them my resume. Len is the only judge out of the three that actually grew up in the ballroom world. We have Carrie Ann who knows performance and lifts and Bruno obviously has judging qualities but Len is the ballroom person. I think we definitely need a ballroom person because it is a ballroom show. But, yeah, I’m totally going to campaign for that job now."
