DeAnna and Jesse talk Bahamas and babies!

DeAnna Pappas is in love.
If that wasn’t evident last night while she was making gaga eyes over her fiancé Jesse Csincsak on last night’s season finale of The Bachelorette (in a Badgley Mischka Platinum gown no less!) and the After the Rose special, it’s especially evident as I talked to the happy couple via conference call today. And what woman wouldn’t be in a 2.32 karats platinum and diamond princess cut Tacori ring? Sweet choice, Jesse!
Yes, they are planning to get married on May 9, 2009, as they announced on the show last night. “We picked that date because that’s the day we got engaged, and we also thought about doing it in the Bahamas, because that’s where we fell in love,” DeAnna shared.
Jesse wouldn’t mind having a few of his former Bachelorette buds attend his upcoming nuptials. “Big Brian, I would love to have out there. And Richard, Freddy and Jason.” That's right. Brag a little Jesse!
As for the cynics who think the couple won’t make it to the altar? DeAnna responded, “If they don’t choose to believe me, there’s nothing I can do. I’m really in love. I’m really happy. I’m really engaged, and I’m really going to marry this man.” True that!
The crazy-in-love duo has plans for a family, though DeAnna shot down rumors that she’s already pregnant. “I heard that and I thought, maybe I’m putting on some weight, I’m happy and in love,” she exclaimed. “Better get on that treadmill.”

“We definitely want to have kids. But we want to go and experience our relationship to the fullest before we go and have any little bambinos,” Jesse explained. “We’re going to travel and visit both of our families and take some time to ourselves and enjoy life.”
And yes, they both approve of having single father/Bachelorette runner-up Jason Mesnick step in as the next Bachelor. “Jesse and I are all about it. We are going to be friends with Jason forever. He’s a great guy,” said DeAnna. “We definitely think he would make a wonderful bachelor. We’ll be there all the way threatening the girls and telling them they better treat him right.”
That’s what friends are for, right?
Best of luck to the happy couple!
