Demi Lovato Explains "Heroin Killed the Radio Star" Sticker: "Sober Is Sexy"

Demi Lovato took to her Twitter account today to defend a sticker she has on the back of her cell phone. The singer says the quote, "Heroin Killed the Radio Star" is in support of the "Sober Is Sexy" motto to spread to her fans.

Photos of a close up of Demi's cell phone sticker hit the Web and caused some controversy on the anti-drug message. Mainly, was she trying to say something about Amy Winehouse's recent death?
Well, Demi took to Twitter to clear up the rumors and explain that she's had that sticker for a long time and she thinks it's a positive message to send to her fans.

"I've had the same sticker encouraging sobriety in a cool way for over a month now," Demi wrote. "No other reason than to inspire a younger generation to stay sober rather than falling into peer pressure and bad habits like so many have. #relax."

Sober Is Sexy is a clothing and accessories line and proceeds from sales goes to different substance-abuse programs, MTV News reports.
