Kiehl’s makes the world a more beautiful place with their coveted personal care products (I live for their Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque) and dedication to a variety of philanthropic projects, including the annual Kiehl’s LifeRide for amFAR which kicks off July 31 in Seattle, WA.
LifeRide is a multi-day, multi-state motorcycle ride to raise money and awareness for amFAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, featuring celebrity motorcycle aficionados like John Corbett, Gilles Marini and Teddy Sears.
With stops in San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland the ride will culminate in a grand finale in Los Angeles where Sharon Stone, amfAR’s Global Fundraising Chairman, will accept the check for the full donation to amfAR on August 8.
Want to help but don’t live along the ride route? Kiehl’s is introducing a Limited Edition Ultimate Strength Hand Salve with 100% of their net profits from the sale of this product, up to $25,000, to benefit amfAR. The moisturizing item will be available in a specially designed 7.8.oz size, adorned with a red cap and retails for $28.50 at Kiehl’s retail stores and specialty store partners nationwide, and at Kiehls.com.
There’s also plenty you can do on social media, like this Facebook promotion: Show your support by switching out your current Facebook profile picture for Kiehl’s. Like Kiehl’s Facebook page and post #SharetoCare as your status and when they have 1,851 picture swaps they’ll contribute $15,000 of the overall donation.
