Emily Deschanel Gives Birth to a Baby Boy

Emily Deschanel and her husband David Hornsby have welcomed their baby boy into the world.

Emily's publicist told Entertainment Weekly that the Bones actress gave birth on Wednesday.

The couple was married in 2010 and this is their first child.

Emily's sister, New Girl star Zooey Dechanel, was thrilled in April when Emily announced she was pregnant.

"I am super excited to be an aunt!" she Tweeted.

Her Bones co-star, TJ Thyne, was so excited by Emily giving birth that he Tweeted, "CONGRATULATIONS EMILY D!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yay yay yay!!!"

Bones returns on Nov. 3 on Fox.
