Erin Andrews on Elisabeth Hasselbeck: "She Called Me. I Didn't Speak with Her"

Erin Andrews has cleared up whether Elisabeth Hasselbeck lied when she said on The View that she had called Erin to apologize. Erin had told reporters, "I didn't speak to her, no." But, Elisabeth did in fact make the call."

"I heard what she had to say on The View and I listened to everything she said... she called me. I didn't speak with her," Erin told Extra. "I'm just gonna leave it at that and move on."

Elisabeth had said on The View of her daughter inspiring her to say sorry, “She’s so cute; She said to me, ‘Mommy, why don’t you just call Erin and tell her you’re sorry?’ So, thankfully, I listened to her — she’s a wise little girl — and I did. So, I’m really sorry, and I wanted to offer that publicly too, even though I did follow that advice.”

So, apparently she called but didn't reach Erin, which might explain why she wanted to make the apology public too!
While Erin is moving on, other DWTS contestants aren't as forgiving.
Castoff Tony Dovolani told Extra, "An apology is not enough. Elizabeth really should've thought before she spoke on that."
So would Erin ever confront Elisabeth by going on The View? Only with back-up!
"If my Russian could come with me," Erin said pointing to her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy. "I would do it in a heartbeat."
