Erin was happy her dance partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, has supported her after Elisabeth’s controversial comments that appearing on the dance competition was unwise considering her recent stalker nightmare.
“It was really nice to have Maks stick up for me,” she told reporters. “It was really nice to have the entire cast — and you know what, a lot of the media — we got a ton of support with it.”
Maks, standing by Erin’s side, said, “I think this season is one big roller coaster of stuff happening every day and we’re like, okay, we actually have no clue what’s happening because we’re behind closed doors rehearsing.

We put in like 70 hours this week getting ready for two dances so how much time do you think we had thinking and listening and hearing stuff?”
Now Erin hopes The View hostess issue just goes away: “I dealt with it. I’m moving on. It’s a new week. I’m tired of talking about it.”
