Eva Longoria Parker on Nicollette Sheridan Suit: "I'm Really Confused"

Eva Longoria Parker chatted with Ryan Seacrest today about being shocked to learn that friend and former Desperate Housewives co-star, Nicollette Sheridan is suing creator Marc Cherry.
“It’s a big lawsuit, it’s a big deal, I love the show so much that I would hate for anything to really tarnish the reputation of the show,” she said during an interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest today. “I really would like all of it to go away.”
Eva explained she was not on the Desperate set in September 2008 when Marc allegedly hit Nicollette, but the actress did say it's hard for her to believe Marc would act out in such a violent manner.
“He’s funny and sweet… and probably could not harm a fly. He’s just so sweet. I do know they had a thing on set. I guess it was a couple of years ago,” Eva said.

In the suit, Nicollette claims that her former boss struck her “across the head and face” on the set, and when she tried to stand up for herself, she was fired from the show.
Eva also said she really enjoyed working with Nicollette.
“Nicollette’s a sweet girl, too. I’m really confused about this whole thing.”
However, Eva has not been in touch with Nicollette since she left the show.
“I haven’t talked to her since she left the show… we used to be really friendly when she was here, but she was kind of on vacation for a while, so I haven’t seen her around in L.A.,” Eva said. “I would love to see her to find out if everything is okay.”
