Kim Kardashian's Twitter fans aren't too happy about the way she's holding a kitty in a picture she posted, but PETA isn't being as hard on her.

Kim posted the controversial photo on her Twitter saying, "Pic from my shoot yesterday...good kitty cat!"

PETA says she isn't the first and won't be the last person to hold a cat that way.

"Kim Kardashian isn't the only person who mistakenly thinks that because a mother cat picks up her kittens by the scruff of the neck that a supportive hand under the rump isn't needed," PETA said in a statement.
