HBO Cancels 'How to Make It in America', 'Hung' & 'Bored to Death'

Even the cast of How to Make It in America couldn't quite figure out how to make it quick enough. HBO has canceled the show as well as two other comedies.

According to Entertaiment Weekly, Thomas Jane's Hung and Jason Schwartzman and Zach Galifianakis' Bored to Death were also on the chopping block. Hung and Bored to Death enjoyed three seasons on HBO, while Bryan Greenberg and Lake Bell's How to Make It in America was on the air for two.

The network has ordered a second season of Laura Dern's Enlightened and will premiere Luck starring Dustin Hoffman, Veep starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Judd Apatow's Girls, Ricky Gervais' Life's Too Short and Chris Lilley's Angry Boys in 2012.
