Heather Mills Recovering From Skiing Accident in Austria

Paul McCartney's ex-wife, Heather Mills, is currently recovering from a skiing accident she suffered in Austria while reportedly training for the 2014 Paralympic Winter Games.

According to the Associated Press, Heather slammed into a steel-hard plastic pole (caused from the cold) while skiing down the Alpine slopes.
Heather, a former model who has a prosthetic leg, suffered a fractured right shoulder blade and was airlifted to a hospital by helicopter in Lienz, a hospital spokesman said.

She was reportedly released Thursday morning and is expected to make a full recovery. Heather recently bought a house in Southern Austria and is reportedly training for the Paralympic Winter Games.
Heather spoke with local broadcaster ORF and said, "That's skiing, you know."
