Got Metamorphosis on repeat? Pretty soon you'll have a new Hilary Duff jam to favor on your playlist—and there's even a confirmed date available to look forward to! Hilary Duff's new single "Chasing The Sun" will officially drop on Tuesday, July 29th. It's also available for pre-order now.
Hilary, who is signed with RCA Records, is working on completing the album which will reportedly be out in the fall.

"I took a break from music for quite a while, but it gave me the power to choose my next steps carefully, and I'm really proud of the album I've made. 'Chasing The Sun' is a light and fun summer song that I hope helps people to feel a little more carefree," said Hilary when speaking about her new venture.

Wondering if Hilary will still add in traces of her pop music past in the new album? Back in June, Ed Sheeran revealed to Digital Spy that the collection of songs will have an "adult alternative acoustic sound."
