
Jani Lane, Lead Singer of Warrant, Dies at 47

The lead singer of rocker band Warrant has died. Jani Lane was 47 and his body was found yesterday at a Comfort Inn in Los Angeles.

As reported by CBS, the cops said his body was found yesterday in a Woodland Hills hotel, however there wasn't any information surrounding the reason behind his untimely death.

Most recently he appeared on Celebrity Fit Club and made headlines for a drunken driving arrest. Back in the day, however, he was known for his long blond hair and tight leather costumes.

Jani joined Warrant in 1984 and then left the band in 1992, only to return and quit a few more times. He wrote the songs, "Heaven," "Down Boys," and "Cherry Pie."
