They weave one tangled web over there at SUR Lounge and we're about to learn the latest drama among LA's sexiest servers and bartenders when Vanderpump Rules' sophomore season premieres tonight at 8 PM on Bravo. If the way the cast was paired off for interviews at the joint Vanderpump Rules and Real Housewives of Beverly HIlls premiere party is any indication of what lies ahead—we're in for some serious strife between Lisa Vanderpump's staff. While Scheana and Jax walked the red carpet together, Stassi and Katie had each other's back and seemed to avoid the others, while Kristen and Tom remained close. OK! chatted with Jax and Scheana about what to expect next.
OK!: Why does drama always surround this group of people?
Jax Taylor: I feel like I attract a lot of it.
Scheana Marie: Yeah, I feel like being friends with Jax it just follows him so then I’m dragged into it.
JT: I feel like people just eat popcorn and watch me unravel.
OK!: Has like always been this way?
SM: It has been! That’s the thing—we said years ago, “We should have our own reality show.” The dynamic of our group of friends is so crazy that you have to have a TV show about it because you can’t script the things that happen. It’s all real. It is our lives. We have to go home with it. It’s not like memorizing lines and you can just get past us. It affects us. It’s hard but it’s fun.
OK!: What’s the craziest thing a customer has said to you after watching the show?
JT: I’m sure she gets more with the Brandi situation but I get called every name in the book. To be honest, people don’t give me a hard time. Once in a great while someone will say something, but I’m really surprised considering what happened last year and considering what happened this year I pretty much want to leave the country after watching this season. It’s going to be that bad.
SM: I’m not given a hard time too much. Sometimes women will say, “Oh, you’re the one that slept with that husband, right?” And I’m like, “Yeah, did you want to hear the specials tonight?” That’s a little awkward but I’ve also noticed a lot of women come into Villa Blanca and say, “Can you take a picture with my husband?” I’m like, “What are you going to do with that photo?” It’s so awkward. All of the time women ask me to take photos with their husbands. But I do it and I smile. Whatever.
