Dirty Dancing fans may not be overjoyed at the news that their beloved film will be getting a remake, but Jennifer Grey couldn't be happier!

The actress took to her Twitter account on Tuesday to let her fans know that she's not upset about the news of the remake.
“I love @Kennyortega and trust that he will do something special #DirtyDancingRemake,” Jennifer Tweeted.
And to reiterate her sentiments, Jennifer released a statement through her rep to The Wall Street Journal saying, “I’m so excited about this news, and I think there’s nobody better to do this than my beloved Kenny Ortega who is as responsible as anyone for the success of the first one. I can’t wait to see what he’s going to do with it.”
Jennifer is touched that all of her fans have been showing her appreciation.
"Blown away by all of the love expressed for #DirtyDancing," the 51-year-old actress Tweeted. "Makes me want to see it again. So grateful to have been a part of it."
