Jenny McCarthy Says "Jesus Was My Justin Bieber"

Some of idolize Justin Bieber; others look to a higher power.

For Jenny McCarthy, growing up in the suburbs of Chicago meant she didn't plaster her bedroom with posters of the hottest celebs. instead, she looked up to Jesus. According to The Huffington Post, the author of Bad Habits: Confessions of a Recovering Catholic dished, "Jesus was my Bieber."

Get this: As a kid, the 1994 Playboy Playmate of the Year had aspirations of growing up to become a nun — and a mom! After having a conversation with some nuns, that dream was squashed. At that point, Jenny knew it "wasn't my destiny."

Jenny added, "I had to take off the habit and put on my push-up bra."

Although the 39-year-old may contract Bieber fever if she became a teen right now, she still would hang posters of Jesus. She told Good Morning America that her mother wouldn't have it any other way.

She recalled, “My mom wouldn’t let us have Fonzie posters on the wall growing up, so I was stuck with Jesus, so I couldn’t help but have a crush on him."

The TV personality revealed that after she kissed a boy for the first time, she simply had to cover up the poster. "I cut out a picture of Cyndi Lauper and pasted her picture over Jesus. Thanks, Cyndi.”
