Jesse Eisenberg's 30 Minutes or Less is a comedy, but is based on actual events that are no laughing matter. The actor says he didn't know the plot was based on a real incident, but says his film is very different.

In 30 Minutes or Less, Jesse plays a pizza-delivery boy who is kidnapped, forced to wear a vest of explosives and told to rob a bank before he blows up.
While Jesse and his co-star Aziz Ansari's film makes the plot a comedy, the event mimicked a real incident in which the victim, however, died.

"I cried every day of first grade," the 27-year-old actor shared. "In class. Which meant I ended up getting comfortable emoting in a place where it wasn't the norm."
