Josh Hutcherson & Chaz Bono Take Home GLAAD Media Awards

Chaz Bono and Josh Hutcherson were honored, among others, at last night’s 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards, for their efforts in supporting the LGBT community and promoting equal rights.

The 19-year-old Hunger Games star was presented with the Vanguard Award, presented by Benicio Del Toro, on stage at the Westin Bonaventure in L.A.
Chaz got a big surprise while being given his Stephen F. Kolzak Award! Mother Cher came out to support the former Dancing with the Stars contestant while being honored by the organization.
Talk show host Ellen Degeneres opened the show before guests like Betty White, Ali Larter, Joshua Jackson and Jesse Tyler Ferguson took in a performance by Jason Mraz and helped raise money for the foundation at Ketel One's Walk of Change station.
