NEWSJ.P. Rosenbaum & Ashley Hebert Explain Their "Solid Relationship" on 'Good Morning America'

J.P. Rosenbaum and Ashley Hebert are busy making the media rounds after The Bachelorette came to an end last night and the two got engaged! This morning the reality TV couple stopped by Good Morning America to explain how they're relationship is now and what they're future plans look like!

Ashley admitted this morning on Good Morning America that her reasons for why she likes J.P. are different now than they were in the season.
"I think that I would say very different things from then during the proposal than what I say now," Ashley explained as to why J.P. "I mean we have a very solid relationship. I think we compliment each other so well. He's exactly what I have been looking for — I hope I'm the same for you, babe — He's been my rock. I think that everything that happened on the season really brought us closer and we have a great foundation."
And J.P. made a confession of his own that when he first went on The Bachelorette it was about the ego and wanting to win.
"Completely about ego," J.P. said. " 'I want to win. I want to beat all of these guys.' And at some point all of that changes."
"How does that change?" Robin Roberts asked.
"You just fall for the girl," he explained. "And looking back it was definitely Hong Kong for me. There comes a point where it's no longer about beating him, but 'wow, I want to be with her.' "

And unlike the couple's appearance on last night's Jimmy Kimmel Live where Ashley surprised J.P. by saying "end of next year" for the wedding date, this time Ashley let J.P. do the talking for that question.
"Well, she's going to move to New York," J.P. explained. "She's got to finish up school at Penn. She's got to move to New York and we're going to find a place. She'll get a job and we'll get settled. And then we're going to take about a wedding maybe end of next year or fall of next year."
