Katy Perry Won't Attend People's Choice Awards

We can only imagine there's nothing worse than going through a divorce in the public eye and going through it during awards season with appearance after appearance!

Seems perhaps that's why Katy Perry told fans on Twitter she won't be attending the People's Choice Awards tomorrow night.

The seven-time nominee Tweeted, "Unfortunately I will not be able to attend the People's Choice Awards. I want to thank u all for voting for me, fingers crossed! #KATYCATS" Katy also thanked her 13 million followers by Tweeting, "I am so grateful for all the love and support I've had from people around the world. You guys have made my heart happy again." OK! Over the weekend she also Tweeted, "Concerning the gossip, I want to be clear that NO ONE speaks for me.
