On the hit show, Gossip Girl, Kelly Rutherford’s character is known to put the moves on retired rock stars. But in real life, Kelly has her eyes set on a certain successful NYC lawyer.

“Oh my God, when was our last date?” Kelly asked.
We spoke with Kelly at the Good Shepherd Spring Gala last night in NYC where she told OK! about her new love with Marcus Ernst.
"We went to The Lion for dinner with a group of friends," Kelly shared. "I hadn’t been there. It was really good!”
What is a typical date night like for the new couple?
“Sometimes we’ll go to a screening together or something like that which is always fun. You know, I’m old. I like to just go to dinner. I have children!” Kelly explained.

Although she’s a busy mom with her two kids, Hermes and Helena Grace, that doesn’t stop her from sneaking away with her new beau when she’s not filming Gossip Girl.

“We’ll run out to the country for the day,” she told OK!. “We went to the Hamptons. We walk around and have lunch and just enjoy the day and shop.”
Since they began seeing each other at the end of March, Kelly says that things are “so far, so good!”
But what is it about the couple that makes them click?
“I think we both understand where we are in life,” Kelly says. “And are really respectful of that.”
