Since splitting up with Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian has tried to stay calm, but she's barely been able to stop herself from worrying about what her disgruntled soon-to-be ex-husband will say or do next.

Most recently, her close pals have been talking about Kris appearing on Good Morning America — for half a million dollars, according to a GMA insider — but that's just the tip of the iceberg.

"Kris has become so two-faced," says a close friend of the star. In the past month, "Kim has gotten to see a side of Kris she didn't want to believe existed," explains the friend.

But what a difference a month can make! "At first Kris agreed to make a joint statement about their split and then he changed his mind at the last minute," reveals another longtime Kim pal. "Since then, he has gone out and done everything he had promised not to do. He tried to sell stories to people that made Kim look like a monster and then was surprised that she was hurt. It was sick."

An insider close to Kris insists that the NBA player isn't trying to hurt Kim, he's just trying to allow his voice to be heard — even if it means revealing secrets that Kim would rather keep quiet. 

"Kris is sick of all the negativity. He just wants the chance to set the record straight once and for all," says an insider close to the Minnesota native.
