Lindsay Lohan Released From Jail on $300,000 Bail

After being taken into custody on Friday at the Lynwood Correctional Facility in L.A., Lindsay Lohan was released on $300,000 bail by the end of the night, according to new reports.
Steve Whitmore, of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, confirmed to the Huffington Post that Lindsay was released at 11:40 PM last night.

Originally, Judge Elden Fox ruled that the Inferno starlet would be detained with no bail.
Lindsay’s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holly, appealed the decision shortly after and the 24-year-old was granted bail by Judge Patricia Schnegg at 6 PM.

According to TMZ, the appeal was settled on the grounds that Lindsay had been convicted of misdemeanors, entitling her to post the necessary funds.
Regardless of her freedom, Lindsay was ordered to wear a SCRAM bracelet to detect any signs of alcohol in her system until her next court date.

Lindsay is due back in court on Oct. 22, where Judge Fox will rule on the consequences of failing two drug tests, which traces of cocaine and amphetamines were found, after the Georgia Rules actress was released from rehab.
