
Loleatta Holloway, Disco Singer, Dies at 64

Perhaps best known for the song "Love Sensation," disco singer Loleatta Holloway has passed away. She died of heart failure on Monday night in Chicago. She was 64.

Loleatta was known for several disco hits such as "Hit and Run" and "Runaway", as reported by The Huffington Post. Although she was most known for her 1980's hits, her vocals were sampled in the 1989 Black Box hit "Ride on Time" and Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch's 1991 hit song, "Good Vibrations."
