Devastated by her husband’s betrayal, a mob wife moves on.
They were once so in love it should have been illegal! But the love affair between Mob Wives: New Blood star Alicia DiMichele Garofalo and her jailbird husband, reputed Colombo family mobster Eddie “Tall Guy” Garofalo Jr., has served its time.
In an OK! exclusive, Alicia says that she plans to file for divorce within the next couple of months! Here’s the scoop on Alicia’s bombshell: “There are too many reasons to mention,” she says, but among them is “a lot of betrayal.”
Eddie’s transgressions — in addition to the 2013 embezzlement charges that got him sentenced to federal prison — include a secret dinner date with his ex-girlfriend, Carla Murino, captured on a wiretap.
“I was eight months pregnant and he lied and said he was working,” Alicia declares. In reality, “he was going out to dinner with her and didn’t come home.”

Though the show appears to portray current events, Eddie left the Marlton, N.J., house the couple shared with their three sons — ages 18, 11 and 8 — four years ago.
“I heard Carla on his wiretaps more than three and a half years ago,” Alicia says. “We haven’t been together since then.”
While running her two clothing boutiques, Alicia’s also awaiting sentencing on her own charge of embezzling money from the trucking company she once co-owned with Eddie.
“At the end of the day, I could be taken away from my children,” she says. “I don’t know what’s worse than that.”
In the meantime, she is ready to move on from the heartbreak Eddie has caused her.
“Who is going to save me? I have three boys depending on me. I can’t fail now. I have to save myself.”
