While promoting her upcoming Princess Diana biopic, Naomi Watts abruptly walked out of a radio interview with British radio presenter Simon Mayo on Tuesday.
Simon is unclear what could have offended the Australian actress, but Naomi's previous interviews indicate perhaps she is simply incredibly protective over the role and how her portrayal of the beloved royal will be received by the masses. Early reviews have not been favorable.
Naomi told the UK's Sunday Times she turned the part down twice, mainly over concern about how Prince William and Prince Harry would feel about a project based on the last two years of their mother's life.
"I do care deeply about how the princes feel, of course," she tells the paper. "I am a mum of two boys. But it was a story that was bound to be told at some point, and it's possibly fresher than people expected."
