Of course we have Taylor Swift to blame, thank, whatever for this supposed romance, since Ed is currently opening up for Taylor on her Red tour and she was responsibe for setting the two up. And as much as we love Selena and Ed as invidivuals and as musicians, we're just not so sure we can see them together. But, as we can see from Selena's past dating experience, she does like guys who are about to be really famous. She dated Nick Jonas at the height of his fame on Disney Channel, as she did with Taylor Lautner with Twilight and, lastly, Justin Bieber.

But why we think this could work, though? Ed is two years older than 20-year-old Selena, and she definitely seems like she needs an older guy who can take care of her rather than a teen like Bieber. Guess time will tell on if this relationship is the real deal or just a fling.
