OK! Old School: Happy Birthday, Christina Milian! A Look Back At Her Best Music Moments
Today in 2013, most people know Christina Milian as a contestant who's somewhere in the middle of the pack on Dancing With The Stars season 17. But I was a teen in the early-mid 2000s, so I know Christina Milian as that popstar kind of like Ashanti who had a handful of amazing hit singles back in the day. And since today is Christina's birthday, we're going to take a stroll down memory lane and relisten to her best songs. Why not?

Do you guys remember "AM to PM?" It was Christina's first single ever that came out in 2001 when I was in 8th grade. I only vaguely remember this music video, but now that I'm watching it again, how did noone compare that dance segment where she's wearing a green two piece body suit to Britney Spears' green-wearing dance segment in the music video for "You Drive Me Crazy?" Identical, guys.

Christina had a few songs here and there after her burst onto the scene in 2001, but none of them were really memorable until "Dip It Low" came out in 2005. This video was clearly a step up from "AM to PM" in both the fashion department and the hot guy department and also the lights department! Those are basically pyrotechnics.

And yeah, those are basically the only singles that are noteworthy enough to revisit. But here's a bit of Christina Milian trivia for you—did you know that she co-wrote Jennifer Lopez's 2001 single "Play" and sang background vocals on the track? No wonder Christina was so excited that Jennifer was in the DTWS audience on the first week of the show:

And OMG I am just finding out this information as I write this but Christina Milian also co-wrote Justin Bieber's song, "Baby!" Apparently that's partly what led to her divorce from The Dream—he technically had a hand in writing it and she wanted more money than he was giving her credit for—but whatever, this is really mind-blowing news.

Anyway, happy birthday, Christina Milian, and may you win (or at least make top 3) of Dancing With The Stars season 17.
