NEWS'One Tree Hill' Star James Lafferty Engaged To 'The Royals' Star Alexandra Park
She said "yeah!"
James Lafferty and Alexandra Park are officially engaged after the One Tree Hill alum announced that he had proposed to the Australian actress.
"She said yeah ??☺️," Lafferty shared on Instagram, alongside a sweet selfie of the bride and groom-to-be.
Park also gave fans a peek at the diamond ring given to her by her new fiancé in the photo. While she hasn't posted about her engagement on her own social media, she did share a photo from Palm Springs, California, where the proposal is presumed to have taken place.
"Hello ?," the 31-year-old star simply captioned the scenic pic.
Lafferty famously played basketball star Nathan Scott on the hit CW teen drama One Tree Hill from 2003 to 2012. Park most recently starred as Princess Eleanor on The Royals from 2015 to 2018. The two first met in 2015 when Lafferty served as a director on several episodes of the E! royal soap opera series, which was created by Mark Schwahn, who was also the showrunner for OTH.
It's unclear as when their relationship turned romantic, as the two have been notoriously private. According to PEOPLE, they have at least been dating since 2018 when Park posted a photo with Lafferty and his OTH costar Stephen Colletti.

The 35-year-old actor previously dated his OTH co-star Sophia Bush from 2008 to 2009.
The summer of 2020 has been a busy one when it comes to engagements.

The Bachelorette star Clare Crawley is also engaged to contestant Dale Moss. Their engagement came off the news the show’s leading lady quit after 12 days of filming because she had “already fallen in love” with the 31-year-old.
Liam Payne is also reportedly now engaged to his girlfriend Maya Henry. The couple were first linked together in Aug. 2018, shortly after the 26-year-old Payne broke up with the 37-year-old Cheryl Tweedy.
