In the second to last episode of One Tree Hill ever, we celebrate Tree Hill's Annual Burning Boat Festival ceremony and reconnect with the pasts of our favorite characters.

While Nathan (James Lafferty) and Jamie (Jackson Brundage) are on a camping trip, Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz) gets ready to host the Burning Boat ceremony, which allows the residents of Tree Hill to cleanse themselves of anything that may be a reminder of their past or something they feel they need to get rid of.

OK! NEWS: ONE TREE HILL RECAP: DAN SAYS GOODBYE AND A CHARACTER FROM THE PAST RETURNS!

While Haley is practicing her speech, Brooke (Sophia Bush) helps Julian (Austin Nichols) ace his interview with producers who are interested in turning Lucas' (Chad Michael Murray) book An Unkindness of Ravens into a TV series. (In a humorous moment, Brooke mentions "The Creek" in reference to the strikingly similar finale of another show, Dawson's Creek. And we loved it.)

Julian wins over the producers and begins writing a script for the show, but has trouble connecting to the characters. That's when Brooke offers up her diary from high school, which documents all her secret moments, including the tense situations involved with the epic love triangle between her, Lucas and Peyton (Hilary Burton). But Julian doesn't seem to be as interested in Brooke's love life as he is in her troubled relationship with her parents, which she writes about constantly in her journal.

And in reality, the problems still exist! Not only is Brooke still mad at her dad (Robert Burgi) for wanting to sell Baker Man, but when she goes to talk to her mom (Daphne Zuniga) about it, she finds her parents — who hate each other — together, doing the nasty in a hotel room!

When she tells Julian about her gross run-in with her selfish parents, he gets pissed, goes to the hotel, and calls out Mr. Davis for being a d**k. (Which, he is.)

Eventually, Brooke and her parents make up and decide to keep Baker Man and run the company together. Family love.

Speaking of family love, Clay (Robert Buckley) and Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) spend their first sleepover weekend with Logan (Pierce Gagnon), who happens to have a fear of the ocean. (Doesn't really help that Clay and Quinn live in a beach house...)

But after showering him in love and letting him know that he doesn't need to be afraid, Clay and Quinn reassure Logan that they will always be there to protect him.

Clay decides that this little family of three is everything he has ever dreamed of and tells Quinn that he loves her before proposing to her in front of Logan, who offers up his "night-light super hero ring" as a substitute for the diamond Clay doesn't have... yet. Tears came to our eyes, not going to lie.

At the Burning Boat festival, Haley makes her speech, Mouth (Lee Norris) thanks Millie (Lisa Goldstein) for helping him find the strength to shed those excess pounds and become a sportscaster again and Chase (Stephen Colletti) learns that Karen (Moira Kelly) has decided to sell him Tric! (And did we mention Skills Antwon Tanner is Millie's new co-anchor on the morning show?)

Plus, Julian gets the go ahead for the TV show and starts creating the set!

Everything is lining up perfectly for the finale next week. That's right, One Tree Hill will air for the last time EVER on April 4 in a two-hour special. Say it ain't so!
