Oprah Winfrey's Secret: She Has a Half-Sister!

Oprah Winfrey publicly reunited with the her half-sister Patricia whom she didn't even know she had during her show on Monday!

Oprah is always reuniting families on her show and now she's doing it for herself too!

According to Huffington Post, Oprah's mother, Vernita Lee, gave Patricia up for adoption but never told Oprah.

The girls were reunited on Monday's show, which highlighted video of Oprah and Steadman Graham driving to Milwaukee to meet Patricia for the first time.

However, the reunion actually occurred last year on Thanksgiving Day.

After Patricia saw an interview with Vernita on TV, she began to believe she may be Oprah's sister based on what she knew about her birth family.

Patricia tried and failed to find Vernita, but was able to find Oprah's niece and confirmed they were related by a DNA test.

Oprah then confronted her mother, who then confirmed Patricia is her half sister!
