The way Jessica Simpson was swamped by photogs and fans outside her NYC hotel on Friday, you'd think the pop singer turned country up-and-comer was the one starring on Broadway and not her kid sis Ashlee. Regardless, J.Simp looked more than happy to oblige the autograph hounds, stopping to sign posters and magazine covers as she and her assistant headed out to Barneys for an afternoon of shopping.
