It's finally here! American Idol's Pia Toscano has officially released her debut single "This Time" and it's surprisingly not a ballad.

Pia premiered her new song on Ryan Seacrest's radio show Monday morning.
The American Idol contestant recently signed with Interscope Records and will be performing her first single as part of the American Idol Live Tour this summer.

“This song is a journey of self discovery for me," Pia explained to Ryan. "It's an empowerment kind of song. I feel like it's a ladies anthem. It pertains to my journey on American Idol to a relationship. This is my time. I can’t believe I’m allowed this opportunity.”
