Age ain’t nothing but a number for Howard Stern, who celebrated his 60th birthday with a star-packed Sirius XM bash at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC this week.
“Do not print that,” the shock jock says of his age. “That’s how bad it feels. ”

He continues, “Really, it’s a number. I don’t feel bad, but it is old. I just lost 30 lbs., so I’m trying to keep it together.”
Despite his fame and fortune, Howard insists he’s easy to buy for in the birthday gift department.
“I’m a simple guy,” says Howard, who spent his actual January 12th birthday with his kids and 41-year-old wife Beth. “I love self-help books and organizing stuff.”

Still, he likes fancy things, too.
“I had Justin Theroux over my house to dinner last night,” Howard says. “Justin and JenniferAniston gave us the best gift, really, to be honest here, by treating us to a wonderful vacation in Mexico. They paid for me—well, during the vacation, I paid for some stuff. We hung out, we had great conversation, we had a chef that made dinner for us. I felt like a king!”

He continues, “It was like a quadrangle date. We had Jimmy Kimmel and his wife Molly there, we had Courteney Cox there, we had a lot of people there. It was like a gang bang!”
As for Howard’s secret to staying young?
“Don’t let people put you in a box.”

“I have had a very good time, so I can’t tell you anything negative,” she tells me. “Every decade, I go ‘this has been the best decade.’ I’ve been very lucky.”
Does she think Howard should get plastic surgery?
“I think Howard has had some plastic surgery,” she says with a wry smile. “He looks much better than he did. And he looks great.Better a new face coming out of an old car, than an old face coming out of a new car. Put your money with what goes with you.”
