The Daytime Emmys aired last night, and though they saluted the best and the brightest of the soaps, talk shows and children's programming, well... they probably could have done it a little better (no montages for the now-canceled All My Children and One Life to Live? No theme music from the winners' respective shows as they approached the stage? No set that wasn't dark and hideous?) But, enough griping! Thanks to the presenters and winners, there were some of lovely moments, like Susan Lucci, Cameron Mathison and Erika Slezak's thank-you speech to fans, Debbie Gibson keeping her cool with marmoset on her shoulder, Anderson Cooper hanging with Oscar the Grouch, and Bethenny Frankel's giggly introduction of the AOL Best Viral Video Award (huh?).
