The autopsy results for Marie Osmond’s son Michael Blosil — who jumped to his death Friday night from his 8th floor apartment in L.A. — have not provided any clear answers. The forensic exam proved to be inconclusive, Radar Online.com reports.
It remains unknown if Michael, 18, had drugs or alcohol in his system, according to Radar Online, and toxicology tests will not be ready for 4 to 5 weeks.
Michael left a note behind, explaining that he could not live with his severe depression any longer, feeling unable to fit in.
Members of the coroner’s office are currently interviewing Michael’s family members and friends to find out why he committed suicide, a source tells Radar Online.
Michael, who was a first-year student at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising majoring in apparel manufacturing, suffered from depression and had been in and out of rehab. He was one of Marie’s eight children, and one of five whom the star had adopted.
In a statement, Marie said, "My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time."
Marie, along with her brother Donny Osmond, have been performing at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, but canceled their Saturday night set after Friday’s tragic events.
