Ricki Lake is coming back to daytime TV! On Sept. 10, fans can expect the same characteristic envelope-pushing that made the Hairspray star such a hit talk-show host for 11 years.
"Sex, let's talk about it!" she says in her newly released promo video. "Whatever you want to talk about, the conversation begins here."
Ricki stands on a street corner and asks a group of women what they want out of daytime TV. Among the answers? Sex, motherhood, kids and "everything."

Ricki was catapulted to stardom by her role as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray. She went on to TV and was nominated for a daytime Emmy award as Outstanding Talk Show Host in 1994. Her show ended in 2004.
