“Love, acceptance, friends, two kids that I love and that I have to take care of myself for them,” Ricky told reporters backstage after this week’s show. “I love what I do. I think that’s important. I’m vegetarian. I just became vegetarian about three years ago. I don’t know if that works.”

The proud papa of twin boys Matteo and Valentino says his sons love to swim and may just have the makings of music icons.

“My boys are very musical,” says Ricky. “I wish I had more time to really give them all of the hours they need for the piano lessons but because we’re traveling so much I’m not able to. But they come with me to the sound check every day and they come with me to the studio every day so, yeah, they’re very musical.”

As far as his advice for future Dancing with the Stars guest judges (Dance Moms’ Abby Lee Miller takes a turn on the next episode), he offers this advice:

“Just live the moment. Just be open and allow yourself to feel what the artists and the dancers are feeling. That’s all I did. I don’t know techniques. I don’t know names or specific dances. I just go by what my heart is saying and I think the artists and the dancers got the message.”

Something tells us Abby may not be as zen.
