Rob Kardashian And Tristan Thompson Are 'Like Brothers'

Rob Kardashian and his sister Khloé Kardashian's on-again beau, Tristan Thompson, have reportedly grown so close, “they’re like brothers.”

“Rob adores Tristan and looks up to him,” the insider told In Touch. “Tristan’s helping Rob stay in shape and they’ve been working out together.”

The NBA star, 29,  is also helping the 33-year-old get back on the dating scene. “Now Rob’s back on the market again and looking for love, he’s been seeking dating tips from Tristan,” the source noted. “It would make Khloé and Tristan so happy to see Rob settle down with the woman of his dreams.”

Rob was most recently linked to Instagram model Aileen Gisselle following his 2017 split from Blac Chyna. According to Us Weekly, on Aug. 3, Rob and Aileen appeared to enjoy a romantic night out as the 29-year-old single mom shared a video of Rob on her Instagram Story using a filter that covered the screen with hearts. After their dinner date, she posted another Story with the reality star’s Arthur George socks on full display.

Perhaps Rob’s new shot at love is inspired by his sister’s reconciliation with Tristan. The two have “gotten over their issues and have come out stronger than ever,” a source told In Touch. The couple — who has “never been happier” — are even thinking about what the future holds. “Having another child together is definitely in the cards and possibly even a wedding,” the insider added.

The reality star, 36, and Cleveland Cavaliers player — who share 2-year-old daughter True Thompson — got back together during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The pair called it quits in February 2019 after news got out that Tristan had hooked up with Jordyn Woods after a night out. Prior to that, the dad of two was spotted flirting with other women right before the Revenge Body host gave birth to their little girl.

Khloé and Tristan haven’t confirmed the news themselves, but the duo was spotted packing on the PDA after returning from vacation in Turks and Caicos in August, and the Canada native was even spotted at Kardashian’s birthday party in June. 

In fact, Scott Disick let the cat out of the bag that the two were back together on Aug. 28. The brunette beauty shared a sexy snap of herself wearing a black bathing suit, writing, “Good Swim back in stock NOW!!!!” In response, the 37-year-old wrote, “@realtristan13 is a lucky man!” 

Just because Khloé and Tristan are giving their love story another shot doesn’t mean that the businesswoman isn’t nervous as to what her fans think about their relationship. “Not a secret, just not your business,” read a cryptic message on her Instagram Story on Aug. 12, which seemingly referred to her reconciliation with Tristan.

Tristan isn't the only love of Khloé’s life that Rob has been tight with. Kris Jenner’s only son was extremely close with Khloé’s ex-husband, Lamar Odom. In Lamar’s memoir, Darkness to Light, the 40-year-old opened up about his drug and sex addictions, and how they affected his marriage and friendships. With regards to Rob, he said he regrets the fact that their friendship suffered after his infidelities and cocaine addiction eventually led to Khloé filing for divorce.

“It’s too bad that when you’re in a relationship with someone that doesn’t go the way you want it to go, that all the relationships get hurt by it,” the former LA Lakers player told PEOPLE. “I miss Rob a lot. Rob will be my brother always."
