Robert Pattinson Mends His Heart at Reese Witherspoon's California Ranch

Well, here's a twist nobody saw coming.

In the wake of the Kristen Stewart/Rupert Sanders elicit affair revelation, scorned ex Robert Pattinson has found solace amongst the horses and goats at Reese Witherspoon's ranch in Ojai, Calf.

While owning an L.A. home too, Reese purchased a sprawling, seven-acre historic ranch so her two children would have a country escape similar to her girlhood home in Nashville.

Rob and Reese worked together on 2011's Water for Elephants and formed a pretty tight bond, say sources close to the two actors. When the pictures of Kristen and Rupert engaged in a hot and heavy makeout session hit newsstands, Reese was the first person he called and immediately asked if he could hole up at her $7 million ranch.

While Kristen called the movers and hauled boxes out of their shared L.A. pad last weekend, sources say Rob is a "a total mess...He's questioning everything" and leaning on Reese.

K-Stew, for her part, is still hoping for a reconciliation, calling and texting Rob and begging for forgiveness, but the Twilight actress shouldn't hold her breath.

"He doesn't know if he can move on," a friend of the actor told The Mirror. "He feels humiliated and the wound will take a long time to heal, if at all."
