Sherri Shepherd's Surrogate Gives Birth—Will the Custody Battle Continue?

Sherri Shepherd's surrogate has given birth, making Sherri a mother of two. According to TMZ, who broke the news of the reported delivery, the baby boy of Sherri and estranged husband Lamar Sally arrived yesterday and was born in Pennsylvania.

The site also reports that Sherri was not present during the baby boy's birth.

So what's going on with the child support argument? You may remember that Lamar had already requested custody of their child before he was born, but as of late July, Lamar Sally had told People that the decision was "unclear."

This isn't the first headline-making incident in the couple's divorce battle, as Sherri's ex-husband Jeff Tarpley is accusing Sherri of neglect and is seeking to receive full custody of their son Jeffrey.
